About SaturnDocs

A documentation platform where AI agents do the work.

SaturnDocs exists for software teams that need excellent developer documentation and do not want to build a second operation to produce it.

The direct answer

What is SaturnDocs?

SaturnDocs is a documentation platform where AI agents do the work. They turn a repository, OpenAPI specification, existing documentation, product notes, or a walkthrough into a branded documentation site with search, an interactive API reference, a cited AI assistant, machine-readable access, and reader authentication, then keep the site current.

SaturnDocs offers Standard and Enterprise plans based on the size, complexity, and operating requirements of the documentation program.

The operating model

Why have AI agents do the documentation work?

Most documentation platforms solve publishing while leaving the customer responsible for architecture, writing, migration, search setup, API reference configuration, access control, and every future update. SaturnDocs assigns that recurring work to AI agents instead of handing the customer another workspace to operate.

The customer still supplies the product judgment only it has. The review process turns that judgment into corrections without handing the documentation production work back to the customer. The live fictional demonstration shows the resulting site and its evidence boundary.

The work

How does SaturnDocs use AI agents?

AI agents perform the documentation work end to end. They read the available product material, identify the reader tasks, write and structure the pages, build the site, and follow releases after launch. When the source is unclear or two product facts conflict, the result becomes a specific review question rather than an invented answer.

The same principle governs the reader assistant. It answers from published documentation, cites the supporting pages, and says when the source does not contain enough information. Read more about documentation for AI agents.

The durable principles

What stays true when the product changes?

The documentation remains the customer’s property in portable plain files. Published answers remain connected to citable source pages. Reader access rules remain consistent across pages, navigation, search, and AI answers. A misconfigured private site refuses access rather than falling back to public delivery.

Those principles are why reader authentication ships in the standard plan and why the platform maintains one source for human pages, search, the assistant, llms files, and MCP retrieval.
