This policy explains how SaturnDocs ("we," "us") handles information when you visit this website or use the SaturnDocs platform. The short version: we collect only what we need to run the platform, we do not run advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site, our traffic measurement is cookieless and aggregate, and we never sell your information.
What we collect on this website
This marketing site does not set cookies. We measure traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first tool built into our hosting infrastructure: it uses no cookies, no persistent identifiers, and no cross-site tracking, and it shows us only aggregate numbers such as page views, referrers, browser types, and countries. It cannot tell us who you are, and we do not try to find out. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a script; it runs only on pages with the form and does not track you across sites.
If you fill in the contact form, we receive what you type: your name, work email, company, an optional link to your current documentation, and your description of your product. We use that information to reply to you and to prepare your documentation if you become a customer, and for nothing else. If you email us instead, we keep the correspondence for the same purpose. Our hosting provider also produces standard server logs, which include IP addresses and browser information; we use those only to operate and secure the site.
What we collect as a customer
To build and maintain your documentation, you give us materials that describe your product: repositories, specifications, existing documentation, notes, or walkthroughs. We store and process those materials only to provide SaturnDocs. We also keep account information (who you are, how to reach you, what you have asked us to do) and billing records. Payment details such as card numbers are handled by our payment processor and never touch our servers.
AI processing
SaturnDocs is operated by AI agents, which means the materials you give us are processed by the third-party AI model providers we use to run the platform. We share with those providers only what is needed to do the documentation work, under agreements that restrict them to processing the data on our behalf. If you have constraints on where your materials may be processed, tell us before you hand them over and we will say plainly whether we can meet them.
Your readers
If your documentation site uses reader authentication, we process your readers' sign-in information (such as email addresses and access groups) on your behalf, so that the right people see the right pages. You decide who has access; we just enforce it. Questions your readers ask the AI assistant are processed to produce answers and to let you see how your documentation is being used.
What we never do
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your materials or your documentation to advertise to anyone. We do not share your private materials with anyone except the service providers described above, unless the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
We keep customer materials for as long as you are a customer, because we need them to keep your documentation current. When you cancel, you can take a full export of your documentation with you, and you can ask us to delete the materials and content we hold for you; we will do so within thirty days, except for records the law requires us to keep, such as billing history. Contact form submissions from people who never become customers are kept only as long as the conversation is live.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@saturndocs.com and we will respond within thirty days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and we will honor them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell customers by email before the change takes effect, and the current version will always live at this page.
